Dec. 24 2016 about A symbol of Christmas, on the top of a Dessert.

I hope other people (except me) is enjoying TDR food samples on my website.
Looking back these food samples in each season or each event, we can see an effort and ingenuity of food division.
So let’s check them again, then you’ll know more Japanese Christmas.

Star

It's easy to put and understandable Christmas mark as on top of the dessert. Many Japanese are not conscious of its connection to the star of Bethlehem the guiding star.

But we can see it upon the Christmas tree, so this shape give us holiday feelings.

Holly

I like the holly use as stand for the Christmas. The above picture's dessert is 2016. But recently, I think the chocolate is too strong color to Japanese. Japanese people are not too big on a strong artificial color of foods. Look at the below photos, these 2011 hollies were all gentle color to eat.

Another hollies in 2012 is still soft color.

It changed from 2014. The chocolate holly became strong color and with a leaf vein.

And a cup dessert in 2014 was more vivid color than the plate dessert.

The holly's shape changed to two leaves with berries.

"Deck the Halls" the song is also very popular holiday song in Japan, but in Japan the title is more direct. It called "Deck the Holly (Hiiragi Kazaro)". Therefore we can imagine the holiday easily from this green.

Bell

It's the best topper on the dessert ever. The bell-shape which as if patissier's great piping technique (actually not), and with big silver dragee.

These cute chocolate and edible bell clapper enhanced just plain cup dessert. I do wish the bell chocolate topper return!

Ribbon

Yes, the idea came from holiday present box. However it gave not great holiday ambiance as they expected. (I think if a shape of the cup is square, the ribbon would had more effected.)

Anyway it’s happy that the bigger toper chocolate than the star.

Snow Flake

It's great choice for white chocolate lover. But they have to be careful to make a difference a holiday dessert and Frozen event pudding.

Christmas Tree

The shape itself is ordinary idea, but it's gives really stylish. I like this simple but lovely tree topper. I don't know why they used only twice in 2013 and 2016. The simple black chocolate tree is more effect and looks delicous than red and green leaf!

Mistake cane

The food division people knew this stripe thing is for holiday, but they don't know what exactly is. As of making the food sample, they mistook it as stocking, therefore the candy cane set upside-down wrongly.

There were only hope! "Zambini Brother's Ristorante" was only set the funny position dessert food sample correctly.

Excellent!

Next year, I ate right angle candy cane pudding at "Sailing Day Buffet" in TDS.

But in 2012, they have used the candy cane motif already, and they put it on correctly.

Now you knew more Japanese Holiday!

When I was a child, an opening TDL was an open door to America. I learned lots through the everything in the park, music, dance, costume, building, piece of decorated thing. They gave me a completely different culture, it's a new world, It was a fantastic experience to me.

I hope TDL nowadays is same for young Japanese. That’s why I really want TDL shows a true culture via the park. Still crowned "Tokyo", But it's not just park in Japan. I want OLC people have to recognize the park was called "Tokyo Disneyland".

What shape chocolate for a top on the Christmas dessert comes in next?
I’m looking forward to see it in next Christmas!

Happy Holidays!!

Dec. 15 2016. about TDS Christmas Wishes 2016.

The most beautiful moment, the yule season come to 15th anniversary TDS.

Go through under Hotel Miracosta,

There are beautiful holiday banners.

In this year 2016, the tree is shining with “15th” the milestone of TDS.

You can see how this big Christmas tree is very popular photo opportunity.

For fluffy lover, there is a cute tree of the three from Cape Cod.

Of course there is a limited-time-only holiday painting by Geratoni near a canal in Mediterranean Harbor.

Here is an another beautiful Christmas tree from Waterfront.

It looked like the tree consists from tentacles (because this is Tokyo Disneysea.), but it’s not!

It's crystal Christmas tree.

Yes, the key item of TDS 15th Anniversary is "Crystal".

That's why this tree is so crystal clear in the center of the park.

I thought a day which these pictures were taken was nearly "super moon" day.

It’s very gorgeous Christmas topper, isn’t it?

Dec. 02 2016. about TDL Christmas Fantasy 2016.

The Christmas Fantasy the special season came in TDL!

This year's theme in TDL is "A Picture book of Christmas" from the last year.

The Christmas season only special banners are same design as the photo locations.

The message of Mickey and Goofy are quite similar. If I were a native English speaker, I would understand a difference of the two!

So let's see a big character photo location, it's worth to see it because limited-time only in this season.

A photo location of a right side at the hub is no big change. One thing, there is addition.

It's dressing up Chip & Dale. Little bit surprised to me, Dale dressed as Bell! It's really “There's something there that wasn't there before"!

They danced on "Winter had come. Bell wanted to show the Beast how to enjoy the snow. The enchanted objects of the castle looked on with hope. If the Beast found love, then that would keep the magical rose in bloom and saved them all". the important and romantic page.

Beauty and the Beast at the right-side photo location is not big change, but the left was changed completely from the last year's. It changed from a wonderful Liro & Stitch summer holiday to Goofy & Donald character which is unremarkable.

Each lift-the flap book is related their house in Toontown.

The left is Goofy's book which the tree made of paint cans from "Goofy's Paint 'n' Play House" the attraction.

The above is last year's photo locations which decoration showed theme of "A Picture book of Christmas". I really loved these pop-up picture book photo opportunities.
The both side location are always in harmony or same theme, but in this year, I think they are not keep good balance.

More surprising to me, every book in the special decoration in this year, there is completely no title!

Or very obscure the title, "Christmas on Winter Street".
Did I trigger this? Because I’ve mentioned about the titles in last year.

We can see more cute special decoration on the hub!

Can you find a difference between left picture and the right? There is a snot bubble from Pooh's nose when I took it on 5th November. But it's gone on 9th November!

I missed the animation like bubble!

And other side also very adorable decoration have.

Timothy has a his favorite.

Oh, Dumbo stop stop, the book is drooled.

The book still with drool, but...

And this drool was gone too, but it remained about a week after the missing of Pooh’s snot bubble.

I thought that Timothy wiped it away from Dumbo.

I like you Dumbo even with drooling!

I really love, and too look forward the holiday decoration at TDL park, so I am sorry that I tend to be outspoken. But even I'm grumbling, the park is still very beautiful with full of Christmas things.

Please find your favorite decoration at TDL and please let me know!
