Mediterranean Harbor

The strange sign from the "Cafe Portofino" the cafeteria style restaurant. The individually sign looks like an ordinary sign in Italian, however the men's sign shows "Signore", it means "gentleman", it's a singlular. And the another meaning "Signore" is "ladies", it's a plural. Usually the plural form use for the toilet sign. Actually, the sign for the women's restroom use the "Belle Donne", it's a plural. ("Donna" is singular in Italian.) The report from the man checked this men's restroom that there are several restroom stall, therefore it makes no sense at all that only for single use. Hmm...interesting.

Here are the common signs from outside restroom in Mediteranean Harbor. As you can see this themed port name, the sign use in Italian.

This restroom sign from inside the "Zambini Brother's Ristorante" the counter-service restaurant. The brothers renovated as the restaurant from the old winery used by family wine and olive oil business. The wooden plate and warm color gives you a rustic atmosphere.

American Waterfront

This restroom located under the "Electric Railway".

This restroom is next to the "Tower of Terror", which exterior is "New York City Waterworks".

Here are the sign from "Sailing Day Buffet" the restaurant. It has transfermed its main cargo terminal, machine operation floor, and office into the resraurant. The restroom is located the office area.

The restroom inside the S.S.Columbia. The sign looks exactly like the "Sailing Day Buffet"'s one, but look closely, this sign showing "Ladies" and "Gentlemen" instead of "Women" and "Men". In addition to, the basic color and the tacking are different either.

This sign is outdoor restroom of the "Cape Cod Cook-Off" the hamburgers restaurant. This restroom near the "Aunt Peg's Village Store" the merchandise shop.The individual design are same as other American waterfront, but these are very pale color which suitable for the area.

These signs from "Horizon Bay Restaurant" the caffeteria-service restaurant in Port Discovery. I like the sprightly pictogram.

The sign from inside and outside of the "Miguel's El Dorado Cantina" the restaurant. I like the big sign of the zinc-roofed house, but it is too far from the entrance to notice the sign.

Mermaid Lagoon

The wonderful sign from the Mermaid Lagoon. The merfolk mark is very interesting. The each wall signs' mounting angle are very romantic, the angle looks like the "Ariel" look above the sea surface, and "Prince Eric" look down the sea. And they placed back to back, we can sence that they have not met each other yet and full of romantic anticipation of fetal encounter.

Mysterious Island

The sign from outside restroom in Mysterious Island. The strong color steel and the dynamic studs, and the eccentric figure design in keeping with this mysterious themd port.

Here is the sign from inside of the "Vulcania Restaurant" the counter-service restaurant. The restaurant is part of the geothermal power station for Nemo's scientific base, so the main sign use the "Lavatories" instead of the "restroom" is nice.

Fantasyland in DLP

Here are the sign from Disneyland Paris which I found from my trip pictures. I remembered the outside restroom is located back of the castle. The beautiful picture of King Stefan and Queen Leah are very impressive.
