"The Timekeeper" Prop

This prop was sealed bid auction item from Disneyana Fan Festival Japan in 2008. It's a one of a real prop which decorated in pre-show area of "Visionarium" in TDL. (same as "Timekeeper".) In TDL, the "Visionarium" closed in 2002, therefore I felt quite nostalgic and happy to see a number of items from this attraction. I guess the most popular prop of "Visionarium" was the 9-Eyes sketch. I also bid it, but I couldn't get it.

Disneyana Fan Festival 2010 Pin

It's 2nd Disneyana Fan Festival in Japan's pin. The pin shows a main design of 2010 Disneyana. In Japanese Disneyana didn't exist the theme like WDW or DL's Disneyana Convention. I think the sorcerer Mickey looked something special to Japanese organizer, therefore the main design decided this. It's OK, I love sorcerer Mickey, however, I expected a new design for the 2nd Disneyana.

Disneyana Fan Festival 2010 Commemorative gift, Wrist watch

This shell-work like wrist watch is a one of a commemorative gift of 2nd Disneyana Fan Festival in Japan.

TDL 6th Anniversary Button

If my memory serves me right, this button was hand out to guests as anniversary gift on 15 April in 1989.

Donald Duck Egg Stand

I purchased it at TDL, around 1999. The year was "Donald's Wacky Kingdom" the all Donald event. There were many Donald-themed merchandises in the park. I think this egg stand is one of the item in this year.

Donald Duck Ring

This is a very early TDL merchandise. This gold plated ring is one size fits all. I think there were two types of design, Mickey and Donald.

Donald Duck Doorstop

I think this vividly doorstop also launched during the "Donald's Wacky Kingdom" the special event in TDL.

New Years Envelope

This is a small envelope for New Year's gift money. Kimono Miniee, Haori and Hakama Mickey, the first sunrise, and plum tree, many Japanese traditional New Year's related thing in Disney taste. In the now, this cheap price amaze me.

Hercules Name Tag

This is a souvenir name tag which was launched in 1997. It was “Disney's Hercules the Hero” the special event day. There are so many Hercules things at that time. From the back of the name tag, there are a copy right sticker which incused as "©Disney Enterprises, Inc.". In these days, the copy right of all of souvenirs in TDR are “Tokyo Disney Resort®” or "©Disney". The small square Mickey sticker is a sign of old TDL merchandise. ("©Disney Enterprises, Inc." in the green circle with Mickey. And "Tokyo Disneyland®" in Japanese.) . Now, the copy right printed on a price tag or on a merchandise directly, not this sticker. I found three different Disney Company registered trademark sticker on TDL's merchandise.
"©Walt Disney Productions" trademark sticker
"©The Walt Disney Company" trademark sticker

Mickey Mouse Birthday Button

This tin button was handed out to guests on Mickey's birthday, 18 November 1983. Looking back from now, it's hard to belive a free button in the park on his birthday.

Mickey Mouse Button

I purchased this tin button around 1987. From the back of the button, there are a copy right sticker which incused as "©The Walt Disney Company". In these days, the copy right of all of souvenirs in TDR are "Tokyo Disney Resort®" or "©Disney”. The small square Mickey sticker is a sign of old TDL merchandise. ("©The Walt Disney Company" in the green circle with Mickey. And "Tokyo Disneyland®" in Japanese.). Now, the copy right printed on a price tag or on a merchandise directly, not this sticker. I found three different Disney Company registered trademark sticker on TDL's merchandise.
"©Walt Disney Productions" trademark sticker
"©Disney Enterprises, Inc." trademark sticker

Pocahontas Cafe au lait Bowl

I bought it when "Pocahontas" the Disney animation was released in 1995. At this time, in TDL had many Pocahontas things with the movie released. This cafe an lait bowl is one of these merchandises.

Postcard with Seeds

The greeting card with seeds & wooden plant marker. There are an instruction on the back. "Wasurenagusa" means Myosotis, commonly forget-me-not. The pot on front hold the seeds.

Star Tours Key Chain

A one of the "Star Tours" signature souvenirs. I remember I bought it twice, because the fast one was worn out. Therefore, this key chain was sold in relatively long period of time. It is my treasure.

Castingline.net Ball Point Pen

This is a free pen which was given at interview site for TDR cast. I don't know what's it like now, however, when I was a college student, there's no need pre-form, like resume. We just wrote a personal information on the form with the pen which was given at interview site of Disney.

Cast Members Only TDS Neck Plate

One of my cast members only merchandise. It is a dog tag-like accesory which was produced in commemoration of TDS grand opening in 2001. We could choise a name or a personal message engraved on the back.

TDS Flag

This flag was hand out for guests on 4 September 2001 the TDS grand opening day.

One-way Container at Royal Street Veranda

In this page, I would like to show you my various TDR-related items include early park souvenirs, cast members only things, and I'll show you some treasures of TDR Disneyana! Of course, every item is unavailable now.
I hope you enjoy it!

A small paper cup from "Royal Street Veranda". The walk-up window offered a mixed nuts with this tiny cup. The one-way container with own shop name printed on it is rare. Today, all counters serves paper containers with the same pattern as below picture.

TDS Early Paper Plate

A paper plate was served at "Cape Cod Cook-Off" the counter-service restaurant. In the early days of TDS, this pretty plates with Disney friends and various boats printed on it for burgers or cakes. Now, there is a wrapper for a burger or a plain paper food tray for a cake instead of it. Now, at "Great American Waffle Co." offer a Mickey-shape waffle served with a paper plate which is a same, common TDR pattern as the other paper items.

Star Tours Pen

A pen , one of the "Star Tours" signature souvenirs. The pen sold in 1989 the attraction opening year. I remember the pen only sold for a couple of years. You can't imagine who know well about vast range of WDW merchandise, there are hardly any individual products of attraction in TDR. When a new attraction open, a few opening goods, like post cards, pins will be sold, however that's all, means after sold out of these opening good, no additional goods. A recent example, the latest attraction “Jasmine's Flying Carpets” only launched opening post card and sticker. (no more opening pins...)
I think there are many "Star Wars" or "Star Tours" geeks, like me, it means that a great many consumers hide, however no related merchandise in TDL at all.

Mickey Ear Hat shaped Broach

A small plastic made broach which is an early park souvenir in TDL. This Mickey Mouse Ear hat shape broach's shape is interesting. The shape of the ears more like Stitch's ear than Mickey's. It have two clues on the back that the broach is early merchandise. The one is a copy right which incused as "©Walt Disney Productions". In these days, the copy right of all of souvenirs in TDR are "Tokyo Disney Resort®" or "©Disney". The other clue is the small square Mickey sticker. ("©Walt Disney productions." in the green circle with Mickey. And "Tokyo Disneyland®" in Japanese.) . Now, the copy right printed on a price tag or on a merchandise directly, not this sticker. I found this registered trademark sticker exist on a merchandise in 1997 TDL.

Donald's Boat Builder Toy 1

Donald's Boat Builder Toy 2

A show related merchandises in TDS. The soft toy and plastic made boat which inspired by a boat from "Donald's Boat Builder" the stage show at "Cape Cod Cook-Off" in TDS. The show itself closed in 2010, now instead of Donald, Duffy the show is running at the same place. "Donald's Boat Builder" performed from 2001 the TDS opening year to 2010, it's quite a long run, however the goods of the show didn't sell so long, so I think only a few people who have a goods of the show. At that time, a merchandise have a tag with TDS sales copy which is no more today.
The plastic boat is a push-up toy. And soft one is a quivering toy when pull a string.

Cast Members Only Wristwatch

One of my cast members only merchandise. It is a wristwatch which was produced in commemoration of TDS grand opening in 2010. I think I bought it at cast shop around 1999 after TDS groundbreaking. The constructor Micky with helmet and the painter Sebastian is nice. The logo which printed on a instruction on the back of the blister package is "Tokyo DisneylandR" because, of course, back then there was no TDS yet that gives me a strange feeling.

TDL 15th Anniversary Not For Sale CD

This is not for sale, distribution single CD. On 15 April 1998, a ceremony for the TDL 15th anniversary was planned at castle forecourt. They invited a cast member as a performer for the ceremony and gave out it as a hospitality gift to the participants. A song of the CD used in the ceremony. (however, unfortunately, it rained on this day, so the ceremony changed to SHOWBASE at Tomorrowland which have not enough capacity for the cast members to perform, because they gathered many cast members for a vast castle forecourt, so most of participants could show a benefit of preparation.)
Additionally, the front picture of the CD is one of the TDL 15th anniversary photos for an advertisement. A shooting for this picture, many cast members gathered in one early morning. Of course I was happy to join it. I appear just left side of the letter of “E”!

Mickey Ear Hat shaped Pouch

A pouch which is an early park souvenir in TDL. A back of the Mickey Mouse Ear hat shape pouch has a zipper and a hook. I really love and used when I was young, so little bit worn.

Hologram Key Chain

A hologram horoscope key chain which is an early park souvenir in TDL. I think that I bought it at Tomorrowland. Now the shop was changed to "Planet M" the merchandise shop from “Character Corner” in 1996. There is no TDL name on it, therefore it's not Disney original merchandise, but it is treasure for me which filled with a cherished memory.

This is a commemorative wristwatch with a matching pin. This not for sale item with a special event night in 2001 TDL. It was a preview performance of "Disney's Party Express!" the parade featured a steam train which Walt loved it, because, in 2001 was the 100th of his birth. This parade performed from 19 JAN. 2001 to 31 MAY. 2001 at TDL. This was a day time parade, therefore the floats had lots of lights and performed for the fun nights.
